After an intense three weeks at the Central Illinois Stage Combat Workshop, I am proud to say I am now SAFD certified in theatrical firearms, passed my SPT in knife, received a recommended pass (yippee!) in Quarterstaff, and am currently awaiting feedback on DAI Level 1 certification in single sword and rapier/dagger. It was a crazy time. I learned lots, grew adamantly fond of one Basil Rathbone (Can you blame me?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSNGeazCW6I), learned some terrific new games, and met some really interesting and terrific people.
